Jakob Hann of the Holy Heart Highlanders (right) has his shot go off the mesh for a foiled scoring chance against Gonzaga Vikings goaltender Matthew Bishop during Hickman Motors St. John’s high school hockey play Saturday night at Twin Rinks. Looking on is Gonzaga’s Murray Byrne. Neil Power scored the game’s only goal, and Bishop provided shutout goaltending as the Vikings won 1-0 to improve to 4-1. Highlanders goalie Michael Fisher stopped 19 of 20 shots.
