Alex Newhook and Zach Rose aren’t the only players from Newfoundland and Labrador who have gone from coast to coast playing hockey.

Matt McKim has just started his first season with the British Columbia Hockey League’s Surrey Eagles.

McKim, 18, has five assists through five games.

He led his St. Andrew's College prep school team of Ontario in scoring last season with 74 points in 50 games.
