History will be made tonight at Feildian Gardens, where inaugural games will be played in the Eastern Women’s Junior Hockey League, the first-ever junior women’s hockey circuit in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The opening game at 7 p.m. will see the Blizzard facing Universal Corporate Wear, while the Metro Ice take on the Eastern Ice Breakers at 8:30 p.m.
