Brett Budgell and the Charlottetown Islanders take on the top-ranked Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the seventh and deciding game of their QMJHL semifinal Tuesday night in Boisbriand, Que.

Budgell, a 16-year-old centre from St. John's, has 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 17 post-season games for the Islanders, the lowest-seeded team in the semifinal round.

The winner advances to the Presidents Cup final, where it will face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, whose playoff lineup includes three Newfoundlanders — goalie Evan Fitzpatrick and defenceman Adam Holwell of St. John’s and centre Jordan Maher of Gander.

The Titan swept the Victoriaville Tigres in the other semifinal.
