Call it an early birthday present.

A moorcade was held in honour of 2018 Paralympics para (sledge) hockey silver medallist Liam Hickey on Saturday, the day before the St. John's athlete turned 20.

The motorcade started at the Southlands Community Centre (Hickey lives in the Southlands part of St. John’s) and ended at the Paradise Double Ice Complex, where he displayed and shared the medal with friends and fans.
