Top scorer in provincial bantam league is headed to Ontario prep school

Corner Brook’s Mark Hillier, who won the Newfoundland and Labrador AAA Bantam Hockey League’s scoring title last season, is off to St. Andrew’s College in Aurora, Ont. next season.

The Saints play in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association.

Hillier, 15, had 30 goals and 59 points in 28 games last season. He was named top forward at the East Coast Icejam tournament in Halifax.

Matthew McKim of St. John’s played on the school’s varsity team this year.
