Skylar Coates scored the winner on Sunday, while Mason Campbell provided a goal and an assist, as the Western Kings picked up a 2-0 win over the East Coast Blizzard in action from the Newfoundland and Labrador Major Midget Hockey League at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.

Coates opened the scoring, with Jesse Hickey and Campbell drawing the assists at 11:18 of the third period.

Campbell sealed the deal with just over two minutes to go, from Lucas Robinson.

Lucas Park picked up the win in net.

On Saturday, the Blizzard edged the Kings 2-1 thanks to third-period goals from Nathan Kelly and Patrick Beer.

Robinson was the line marksman for the Kings, with assists going to Coates and Jacob Oake.

Lucas Wiseman suffered the defeat between the pipes.
