Jacob Reid allowed just three hits over seven innings to deliver a complete-game shutout as Holy Cross beat OMT Shamrocks 3-0 Tuesday night to win the St. John’s Molson Intermediate Baseball League championship.

The Crusaders won the best-of-five final 3-1.

Shamrocks were the defending champs, and winners of five of the past six titles. Holy Cross won in 2018.

At St. Pat’s Ball Park Tuesday, Reid struck out 13 batters, and allowed only two walks.

Alex Curtis (2.1IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, 2BB, 1K, 1HB) started for Shamrocks, and was tagged with the loss. Josh Langmead (3.2IP, 1H, 1R, 0ER, 3BB, 3K, 1HBP) pitched in relief.

Evan Reid and Nick Evans both had two hits for Holy Cross.
