Holy Cross/Avalon Ford continues to steamroll its way through the competition in Breen’s Jubilee Trophy provincial women’s soccer, with Feildians Green Sleeves being the latest victim in a 4-0 loss Sunday at King George V Park.
Jessie Noseworthy scored twice, and Malorie Harris and Nicole Torraville each scored once for the Crusaders. Noseworthy has nine goals on the season, and leads the league scoring race, while Harris is right behind with eight tallies.
The win was the eighth of the season for Holy Cross against zero losses and no ties. The Crusaders have not yet allowed a goal this year.
Feildians are second at 3-2-1.
Next action is Thursday night with a pair of games on the schedule. At 7 p.m., Holy Cross plays homestanding C.B.S., and Feildians and Mount Pearl tangle at King George V at 8:30 p.m.
