Four St. John’s soccer championships were decided recently.
In women’s play, Slayers defeated First Choice Haircutters 3-2 to win the St. John's Molson Tier I Intermediate championship, while the Tier II Intermediate title went to Browning Harvey, which slipped past Paradise Parkside Drilling 2-1 on penalty kicks.
Holy Cross/Trinity Pub blanked the Duke of Duckworth/Molson 3-0 to win the St. John’s Molson Masters Men’s Soccer League championship.
The St. John’s Molson Intermediate Tier I Men’s Soccer League championship went to Internationals with a 3-2 win over St. John’s Under-21. The Intermediate Tier II men’s title went to Feildians, who doubled Georgetown FC 4-2.
