\NTV Hitmen have a 2-1 best-of-five St. John’s Molson Senior Men’s Softball League semifinal series lead on Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs entering Game 4 Thursday night at Lions Park.

Game time is 6 p.m.

Awaiting the defending champion Bulldogs or Hitmen are 3 Cheers Pub Dodgers, who swept The Bigs 3-0 in their semifinal series.

Tuesday, Robbie Greene (5IP, 6R, 7H, 3BB, 9K) picked up the win and went two-for-five at the plate with a two-run home run and three RBI in a 12-11, NTV win in nine innings.

Lee Cose (4IP, 5R, 5H, 2BB, 7K) pitched in relief. Sean Cleary (9IP, 12R, 8ER, 10H, 6BB, 13K) took the loss.

Ryan Boland also had two hits for the winners, and Sheldon Keough hit a three-run home run.

The winning run came in the ninth inning when Chris Murphy was placed on second base to start the inning under the ISF tie-breaking rule. Murphy advanced to third base on a pass ball and scored on a pass ball.

Stephen Strapp had three hits in a losing cause. Cleary hit a pair of home runs, a three-run blast and two-run shot. Shane Boland and Andrew Kelly each hit solo shots.
