A couple members of the Memorial Sea-Hawks female team came away with podium finishes on the final day of the Kemp-Fry Invitational swim meet, hosted by Dalhousie University in Halifax over the weekend.
The Sea-Hawks’ Polina Konstantinova actually won two medals, a bronze in the women’s 200-metre breaststroke and silver in the 50m breaststroke.
Memorial’s third medal in meet was another silver, delivered by Natalie Smart in the 200-metre individual medley.
Memorial was fourth in both the men’s and women’s points standings of the meet, which featured six Atlantic University Sport schools as well as McGill University, but was considered a non-conference event.
