The St. John’s Edge complete the first round of their regular-season tour of National Basketball League of Canada cities tonight as they take on the Windsor Express in southern Ontario.

The Express are the only NBLC team the Edge (11-7) have yet to face this season.

Tonight’s matchup begins a six-game Ontario road swing for the Edge, one that doesn’t end until nearly two weeks from now when they finish up against the Sudbury Five.

The Express (9-11), who lost their last two games — a home-and-home series against the London Lightning — are led in scoring by Chris Jones (23 points per game) and Quinnel Brown (19.8).

St. John’s last played Feb. 23 as it completed a two-game sweep of the Island Storm at Mile One Centre. After tonight, they’ll move on to Kitchener to take on the KW Titans Saturday.
