It’s the NTV Hitmen’s turn at bat tonight as the rest of the Molson St. John’s senior fastpitch league looks to hand the Kelly’s Pub Molson Buulldogs their first loss of the season.

The Bulldogs are 10-0 heading into a 6 p.m. matchup at Lions Park against the Hitmen (6-4). In fact, they’re 14-0 if you include their four-win run  in claiming the league’s annual St. John’s Day tourney held last month.

The Bulldogs’ latest win came Tuesday night when Sean Cleary struck out 17 batters in a two-hit 4-0 shutout of The Bigs (3-8). The Hitmen, meanwhile, are coming off a 9-3 victory over the Chayee Bourras Wines Vines Tuesday.

In the latter game, veteran pitcher Robbie Greene of the Hitmen picked up the 1,500th strikeout of his senior-league career.

Tonight’s other game (8 p.m. start) will see the 3 Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers (5-4) taking on the Vines (1-9).
