Ryan Boland’s two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning snapped a 2-2 tie as the NTV Hitmen doubled 3Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers 4-2 in one of two St. John’s Molson senior men’s softball playoff games Sunday at Lions Park.

The NTV win evens the best-of-five semifinal 1-1.

In other series. Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs grabbed a 2-0 series lead on the Chayee Bourras Wines Vines with a 6-1 victory Sunday.

Robbie Greene pitched the win for the Hitmen over Colin Walsh of the defending champion Dodgers.

For the Bulldogs, Sean Cleary tossed a four-hitter and struck out 16, and Blair Ezekiel hit a two-run home run, his third dinger of the series. Eric Healey was tagged with the loss.

Both playoffs resume Tuesday night at Lions Park. The Bulldogs and Vines meet at 6 p.m., followed by the Hitmen and Dodgers at 8.
