Tom Walsh of Clarenville is the new president of the Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association, following the group’s recent annual general meeting.

Walsh takes over from Steve Power, who stepped down from the role to focus on his duties as the Canadian Ball Hockey Association president.

Ian Moores of Harbour Grace was elected vice-president of men’s ball hockey and Michael Hayley of St. John’s is the new VP of women’s, a position that was held by Walsh.

Evelyn Ryan of Labrador City was elected secretary. Lynn Sparkes of Mount Pearl remains in her position as VP minor and long-standing board member Paul Barron of St. John’s is back as treasurer. Chris Ryan is in the middle of a two-year term as communications coordinator.
