Memorial University basketball player Nathan Barker is The Telegram sports department’s choice as athlete of the week.

Barker enjoyed the most productive game of his two-year Atlantic University Sport career last Sunday, draining 30 points as the Memorial Sea-Hawks won their first game of the season.

Saturday night, Barker scored 23 points.

He currently sits 10th in AUS scoring, averaging 16.8 points per game.
