Tennis player Aidan Drover-Mattinen is The Telegram sports department’s choice as athlete of the week.
Drover-Mattinen won three titles at the Atlantic indoor championship last weekend at the Greenbelt Tennis Club in St. John’s.
He took top honours in the under-16 and U18 age groups in singles play, and teamed with Thomas Wallace of Nova Scotia to win the boys’ U18 doubles championship.
His brother, Liam, won the U14 boys’ title in singles
