Minor hockey player Regan Seymour is The Telegram sports department’s choice as athlete of the week.
Seymour helped the St. John’s Maple Leafs to a pair of wins over the Tri-Pen Osprey with two four-point games in the Newfoundland and Labrador Major Midget Hockey League.
Seymour scored once and assisted on three others in a 4-2 win over Tri-Pen Saturday night in Harbour Grace, and came back with a four-assist game in a 6-1 Leafs win Sunday in Bay Roberts.
Seymour sits in second place in league scoring with 10 goals and 18 assists in 21 games.
