Local basketball fans got their first in-game look at the players vying for positions on the St. John's Edge when the National Basketball League of Canada expansion team iheld an intra-squad game at Mile One Centre Thursday night.
About 1,000 specxtators took in the scrimmage.
The Edge’s training camp continues over the coming days, leading up to the team’s regular-season debut,. which comes on the road Nov.18. The team's regular-season home-court debut is Dec. 1 at Mile One.
