Jason Hill of 3 Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers became the ninth player in the history of St. John's Senior Men's Fastpitch League to collect 50 career regular-season home runs when he hit a two-out, first-inning solo shot off Sean Cleary in the Dodgers’ 8-3 loss to the Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs Tuesday night at Lions Park.
It came 16 years and one day after Hill hit his homer in the league.
And that one came in similar fashion —  a solo bomb with two out in the first inning — as Hill, playing for Fog City. helped his team to an 8-1 iwn over Kilbride.
Scott Whelan was the opposing pitcher in that June 13, 2002 contest at Lions Park.
