Playoffs are under way Saturday in the popular Keith Keating Memorial high school basketball tournament in St. John’s and Mount Pearl.
Thirty-two teams are entered in the fifth annual event, named in honour of Keith Keating who was well known in the basketball community since 2004 for his commitment to the Mount Pearl house and club programs, St. Peter’s Junior High and O’Donel High School programs and the NLBA provincial team program.
The tournament features divisions in male Tier I, male Tier II and III and female Tier I.
Finals and the all-star games are slated for Sunday at both Waterford Valley High and O’Donel High School.
