The St. Kevin’s Maverick’s women’s team and Corner Brook High Titans men’s squad are the top ranked teams following the first set of rankings for the Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association’s Hall of Fame Cup (Elite Eight) high school basketball championship.
The men’s and women’s tournament will be held Feb. 16-18 at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre in St. John’s.
A rankings selection committee has gathered scores of invitational tournaments, exhibition games and league play for the past two months. Results from tournaments and games held prior to Dec. 20 have been included for the first set of rankings.
