McNeil Lamswood, Allen victorious on Tely Junior Golf Tour in Deer Lake

Ryan McNeil Lamswood has made it three in a row to make it a perfect week on the greens.

The Stephenvlle native won his third-straight junior boys crown on the 2018 Tely Junior Golf Tour with a 77 round, pushing him to the top of the leaderboard Thursday at the Humber River Junior Invitational.

Lamswood, winner of Tour stops at both Harmon Seaside Links and Blomidon already this week, finished eight strokes ahead of clubmate Jacob Alexander of Stephenville Thursday afternoon at the Humber River Course in Deer Lake.

Blomidon’s Paige Allen, competing in the same division as her sibling Rosie, also won her third-straight tournament, winning the nine-hole bantam girls tournament with a 50 round Thursday in Deer Lake.
