Michael Simms, Ethan Efford and Lucan Meade all captured their second consecutive divisional titles as the Tely Junior Golf Tour moved to the Osprey Course at Clovelly in St. John’s on Tuesday.

The three had also posted first-place finishes at a Tour event at Ball Haly Country Club in St. John’s on Monday.

Simms, a member of Clovelly, carded Tuesday’s low round with an even-par 72, giving him an 11-stroke win over Brandon Powell of Bally Haly in the junior division.

Geoff was third with a score of 85.

Bally Haly golfers dominated the juvenile boys division, with Efford securing the title with a seven-over-par 79 for a one-stroke victory over clubmate Evan Mitchell. Karsen Best rounded out the top three with a 95.

In bantam boys play, Clovelly golfers claimed the top three spots.

Meade posted a 43 to top the division, where competitors played nine holes. That left him two strokes ahead of Griffin Gallant, while newcomer Parker Kennedy carded a 51 to claim third place after retrogression was used to break a tie with Drew Gogal.

The Tour remains in St. John’s for its next event, which will be at the Admiral's Green Course at Pippy Park on Thursday.
