The Memorial Sea-Hawks men’s and women’s soccer teams hit the road this weekend for their first road swing of the 2018 Atlantic University Sport soccer season.
Both Sea-Hawks squads are in Sackville, N.B. Saturday for games against the Mount Allison Mounties, before travelling to Wolfville, N.S. Sunday for a pair of games against Acadia University.
The Mounties’ men’s team struggled last weekend, getting blasted 8-1 by Acadia last Friday, before dropping a 4-0 game to Dalhousie Sunday.
Acadia also posted a 3-1 win Saint Mary’s last Sunday.
Meanwhile, Memorial opened their season at home last weekend with a pair of scoreless ties with UPEI.
The Mount Allison women are also struggling, losing twice last weekend by a 4-0 count to Acadia and 3-1 to Dal. The Axewomen trimmed Saint Mary’s 6-0 Sunday.
As for the Sea-Hawks, they beat UPEI 1-0 last Sunday following a 1-1 draw Saturday.
