Starting for the first time as he works his way into game shape, Glen Davis scored a team-high 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the St. John’s Edge won for the third straight time, a 107-98 decision over the Island Storm in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

The Edge are 4-1 on a six-game road trip that finishes up Sunday in Saint John, N.B.

Dez Lee (19 points and 10 rebounds) and Maurice Jones (13-13) both recorded double-doubles.

Jared Nickens had 15 points and Junior Cardougan chipped in with 14.

Sunday’s game at Harbour Station is set for 2:30 p.m. NL time.

The next homestand for the Edge is Jan. 19-20 with the London Lightning returning to St. John’s for the first time since their divisional finals matchup in the playoffs last season.
