The 3 Cheers Pub Bud Light Dodgers scored four runs on their way to a 6-3 win over The Bigs in Molson St. John’s senior fastpitch play Tuesday night at Lions Park.

Colin Walsh (2W, 9K) scattered five hits — one of them a three-run homer by Shane Kelly — in picking up the complete-game win, while Ryan Kirk scored twice while going three-for-four at the plate. Adam Doyle drove in two runs for the Dodgers (4-2).

The Bigs starter Marcus Pittman ((4H, 5W, 7K) took the loss, giving up all six runs in five innings. Geoff Evely (2H, 1W) finished up with two scoreless innings of relief for The Bigs (2-5).

Tuesday’s other games also ended in a 6-3 score, with the first-place and undefeated Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs doubling up on the Chayee Bourras Wines Vines.

Blair Ezekiel (5H, 3W, 8K) pitched the win and reached base four times, hitting a two-run homer and walking three times, while scoring three times.

Jon Kelly also hit a two-run homer for the Bulldogs (6-0).

Nick Pittman (5H, 6W, 8K) took the loss for the Vines (1-6), who got two hits from Jordan Pomeroy and two RBIs from Andrew Kelly.

The games marked the last senior league action for a week. That’s because of the 39th annual Molson St. John's Day Tournament, which begins Friday at Lions Park. All five St. John’s senior teams — the NTV Hitmen is the other one — will compete.
