The Memorial Sea-Hawks women’s basketball team will be in tough this weekend as it resumes its Atlantic University Sport season at home against the first-place UPEI Panthers.
The Panthers come to the Field House in St. John’s sporting an 11-1 record. The Lady Birds are 4-8. Games are 6 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.
As for men’s play, the Panthers are also in town to play the Sea-Hawks in a battle of the cellar-dwellers. The Panthers are 4-8, while the last-place Sea-Hawks are 3-9 and losers of four of their last five games.
Games are 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday
