CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jonathan Arsenault broke an 8-8 tie with a two-out, three-run double in the top of the seventh inning Wednesday as The Alley Stratford Athletics defeated the Charlottetown Jays Oldtimers 12-8 in Kings County Baseball League (KCBL) action.
Ryne MacIsaac earned the win in relief of starter Arsenault and Dominique Ryan.
Brodie Coffin went the distance in the loss at Memorial Field.
Shawn Macdougall was 3-for-5 with three RBI for the Athletics while Adam Smith went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs.
Greg Stapleton, Coffin and Scott Ramsay each had two hits for the Jays.
