COLE HARBOUR, N.S. — Carter Murchison had a goal and two assists as the Cole Harbour Wolfpack downed the Cape Breton West Islanders 6-2 in Game 5 of their Nova Scotia Eastlink Major Midget Hockey League first-round playoff series at Cole Harbour Place on Wednesday.

Cole Harbour leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.

Cole Foston, Blake Chasse, Ben Boyd, Dylan Andrews and Trayner McCulloch chipped in with goals for the Wolfpack.

Brant Timmons and Luke Hadley replied with goals for the Islanders.

Cole Harbour's Giovacchino Dimattia made 18 saves. Cape Breton West's Kenzie MacPhail stopped 30 of 36 shots.

Game 6 of the series is slated for Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre in Port Hood. Game 7, if necessary, will be played Sunday at 11:15 a.m. at Cole Harbour Place.
