CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A Cheticamp volleyball player was part of an Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association championship earlier this month.
Taylor Boudreau-Deveaux was a member of the Holland College Hurricanes team, which captured the league title with a 3-1 victory, taking sets 25-22, 25-23 and 26-24, defeating Mount Allison University. The Charlottetown-based college's lone loss of the final came in set one 25-18.
Boudreau-Deveaux is in her third year with the Hurricanes program.
Holland College was scheduled to play in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association national championship tournament in Quebec City this month, however, the event was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Holland College will host the CCAA national tournament next March in Prince Edward Island.
