SYDNEY, N.S. — A former Cape Breton Capers player was honoured in the National Basketball League of Canada for his play on the court last week.
Shaquille Keith, who played with the Capers men's program, was named on Monday the Canadian Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 19.
The six-foot-five forward recorded 17.3 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game with the Windsor Express.
The Express are 4-3 on the season and are third in the professional league's Central Division behind London and Sudbury.
