CRAPAUD, P.E.I. — Brayden Handrahan have five assists Saturday at the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces blasted the Southside MacDonald’s Excavation/EF MacPhee Lynx 10-4 in Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior Hockey League action.

The North River Flames defeated the Georgetown Tri County Insulfoam IceDogs 3-2 in the other game of the night.

Aces 10, Lynx 4

Dawson Sellick had three goals and an assist while Jesse Hackett (2-2) and Darcy Sherren (1-3) also had four-point nights for the Aces at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud.

Tristan Cahill had two goals while Nathan Grigg (1-1), Lexin Gaudet (0-2) and Steven Johnson (0-2) all had two points. Thomas Shea rounded out the scoring while Adam Doucette, Jacob Hogan and Devon Sherren were each credited with a helper.

Tyson Beckingham and Riley Payne each had a goal and an assist in the loss while Nathan Paynter and Logan VanHul also scored. Connor Hennessey had two assists while Caelan Campbell and Justin Larsen each chipped in one.

McGuire Gallant made 42 saves for the victory while Jeremie Godin stopped 64 shots in the loss.

Tignish, which held 4-0 and 9-3 period leads, improved to 4-1-0 while the Lynx are 0-4-0.

Flames 3, IceDogs 2

Ethan Handregan’s goal with 12:57 left broke a 2-2 tie and sent the Flames to victory on home ice at the APM Centre in Cornwall.

Daniel Godfrey and Zac MacKay each had a goal and an assist in the win while Griffin Hughes, Kyler Weeks and Patrick Wyand each earned an assist.

Noah Brehaut and Michael Gallant scored for Georgetown while Hayden Somers had the lone helper.

Jean-Luc Duguay made 32 stops for the victory while Summer Pippy-Docherty stopped 22 shots in the loss.

The Flames, who held 2-1 leads after the first and second periods, improved to 3-1-1 while the IceDogs are 4-2-0.

North River travels to Charlottetown Monday night to play the Sherwood Metros (1-3-0) at 7:20 p.m. at Cody Banks Arena.
