Inverness Rebels capture Highland Region Division 3 volleyball championship

INVERNESS, N.S. — The Inverness Rebels are the 2019 Highland Region Division 3 volleyball girls champions.

The Rebels, representing Inverness Education Centre/Academy, captured the regional title recently, defeating the NDA Aigles 25-9, 25-17 in straight sets at Centre Scolaire Étoile de L'Acadie in Sydney.

With the regional win, Inverness will advance to the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation provincial championship this weekend at École acadienne de Pomquet in Antigonish.
