POWNAL, P.E.I. — Carson MacDougall had two goals and an assist to pace the Robin’s Mid-Isle Matrix to a 4-3 victory over the Pownal Taco Boyz Red Devils Monday at the Pownal Sports Centre.
Jayden Murphy had the game-winning goal and an assist while Myles Grant rounded out the scoring. Ryder Howatt, Graysen Laporte, Chris MacDougall, Gage Taylor and Reese Wyand each added an assist.
Lance Kennedy, Seth MacLeod and Sam Parsons scored for Pownal. Aidan Arsenault had two assists while Tristan Lea and Gavin Mason each added one.
Ty Arsenault earned the win while Ethan Smith took the loss.
Pownal led 2-1 after the first period but trailed 3-2 heading to the third period.
The Matrix improved to 3-4-2 while the Red Devils dropped to 5-2-2.
