GLACE BAY, N.S. — Nolan Parsons dropped a game-high 26 points to lead the Glace Bay Panthers to a 63-60 win over the Breton Education Centre Bears in Cape Breton High School Basketball League boys’ action at Glace Bay High School on Monday.

Parsons had nine points in the first half, before recording 17 points – including three three-pointers – in the second half of the contest.

Andrew Boutilier had 13 points, while Daniel Tanchuck recorded 12 points for the Panthers.

Connor Chiasson had a team-high 16 points for the Bears, while Ben Kearney recorded 12 points, and Aaron MacLean chipped in with 11 points.

Glace Bay will be back in action om Thursday when they face the Sydney Academy Wildcats at 8 p.m. at the Glace Bay High School gym.

BEC will host the Memorial Marauders on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in New Waterford.
