SYDNEY, N.S. — A pair of Cape Breton racers are expected to take to the track for the Toromont Cat 150 at Riverview International Speedway today.
Brothers Chris and Kyle Reid of Sydney are expected to take part in the race, which will be the first event of the year for the James River, Antigonish County facility, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans will be in the grandstands for the race. The event tickets sold out quickly with a limited capacity of 1,250, less than 15 per cent of a full house during pre-COVID-19 times. Provincial guidelines will be in place.
The grandstands open at noon and racing begins at 2:30 p.m.
