CENTRAL N.L. —The largest adult provincial athletic tournament in Canada gets underway this weekend across central Newfoundland.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Association’s Senior Provincial Volleyball Championships are scheduled to take place March 13-14 in both male and female divisions.

The tournament will welcome over 2,300 athletes, coaches, officials and conveners to 23 gymnasiums in Clarenville, Glovertown, Gambo, Gander, Glenwood and Lewisporte.

Athletes will compete in A, B and C divisions.
