SYDNEY, N.S. — Madison MacInnis will continue her rugby career in Antigonish next season.

The Sydney product recently committed to play for the St. Francis Xavier X-Women for the upcoming Atlantic University Sport season.

The flyhalf/centre has represented Nova Scotia at various rugby events and late last year was part of the under-18 national team that travelled to California for games against the United States.

Locally, the Grade 12 student played her high school rugby with Riverview High School.

The AUS rugby season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 12. The X-Women begin play on the road against the Prince Edward Island Panthers in Charlottetown.
