CRAPAUD, P.E.I. — Rowan Tremere’s hat trick goal was the overtime winner Sunday as the Mid-Isle Matrix defeated the Central Attack 9-8 in P.E.I. Major Under-15 AAA Hockey League action.

Michael Arsenault (2-1), Mathew McDonald (1-2) and Isaac Taweel (1-2) each chipped in three points in the victory at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud.

Mitchell Ford had a goal and an assist while Luke Inman contributed two helpers. Lucas Thibeau also scored while assists went to Tyler Jenkins-Gaudet, Noah Wolfe and Tremere.

Jagar MacDonald had two goals and two assists to pace Central’s attack while Jordan Jennings-Hughes (2-0), Easton Fitzpatrick (1-1), Will White (1-1), Thatcher Hughes (0-2) and Will Yeo (0-2) all had two points.

Benjamin Matte and Sean Rooney also scored while Desmond Cunniffe and Aidan Silvaggio each contributed an assist.

Landon Mackinnon stopped 18 shots for the win while Noah Carver faced 37 shots in the Attack crease.

Central led 3-2 after the first period but trailed 6-5 heading to the third. Ford scored the equalizer with 5:06 to play.

Mid-Isle improved to 4-12-0, three points up on Central (2-11-1) for third place in the four-team league.
