Sheppard has a 3-1-0 record on the season and two shutouts, one coming in a 1-0 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies in Halifax Saturday.
A third-year neuroscience student, Sheppard made 15 saves on the weekend, including seven in a 2-1 loss to the Dalhousie Tigers.
Noseworthy, a fifth-year nursing student from St. John’s, scored three of Memorial’s four goals as the Lady Hawks improved to 4-0 with wins over the Saint Mary’s (3-1 on Saturday) and Dalhousie (1-0 on Sunday).
The output gives Noseworthy, the conference MVP and a first-team all-Canadian last season, the AUS goal-scoring lead with five markers.
In fact, Memorial has two AUS leading scorers, as the Sea-Hawks’ Tyler Forsey shares top spot in men’s play, also with five goals.
