Street Jam should prove sweet for Mount Pearl minor hockey

Another big street hockey festival is scheduled for Mount Pearl this summer, only this time it’s locally operated and a portion of money taken in will go towards the Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association.
Street Jam Mount Pearl is scheduled for June 23-24, and is expected to attract over 2,000 players on 400-plus teams. The tournament will be played on a combination of Old Placentia Rd. and The Glacier parking lot.
There will be male, female and coed teams. Male and female teams will play in initiation, novice, atom, peewee, bantam and midget divisions, along with junior, adult and veteran/senior (over-40) divisions.
