EASTERN NEWFOUNDLAND: It's a storm!

It's not any easier to forecast, but it is easier to see a storm that approaches from the west. Winter storm warnings are in effect for parts of eastern Ontario and western Quebec and are now starting to pop up here; they’ll soon cover a large portion of our region. I expect wind gusts of 90 km/h along east facing coastlines tomorrow, rainfall totals could reach 25 mm and there's the potential for as much as 30 cm of snow on the colder side of the low. It's a storm!
