ST. JOHN'S: Perfect fall weather to be replaced by wind and rain

The fair-weather system is hanging in there, but will eventually give way to a warm front with rain and strong winds. The leading edge of the wet weather will reach western regions near sunrise tomorrow then track eastward through the day. East to southeasterly winds will gust between 50 and 60 km/h with gusts to 80 across PEI. There’s also a Suetes Wind warning in place for tomorrow afternoon. Rainfall totals should be in the 20 to 30 mm range, but I expect higher amounts in localized thundershowers.
