AGELESS ART: A brush of clouds above Halifax Harbour

This lovely painting of George’s Island in the Halifax Harbour comes from the brush of Mr Carl Abbott.

It’s been said that a picture paints a thousand words… so in lieu of a column, I’m happy to share a lovely painting with you.

My call for Ageless Art submissions last spring stirred lots of interest and the stories that often accompany the art are wonderful.  Thank you for sharing …

This lovely painting of George’s Island in the Halifax Harbour comes from the brush of Mr Carl Abbott.

“Since I have retired I paint (usually watercolors) as a hobby. I love to paint Atlantic Canada’s lighthouses. I thought the cloud formation would interest you.

Best wishes, Carl Abbott”.

If you would like to submit some art for this occasional feature on my weather page, you can email a photo of the work to weathermail@weatherbyday.ca
