CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: A door to a winter wonderland in Nova Scotia

Joanne Thomas submitted this photo. She took it in Portapique Nova Scotia – a rural community near the mouth of the Portapique River, which flows into the Minas Basin. I was immediately drawn to the beauty and simplicity of this photo: the pristine snow-covered backdrop and the bold punch of colour in the foreground. Some say that closed doors can lead to opportunities; this one led me to believe that it should become Joanne’s Christmas cards for 2020.
