CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: A sure sign of spring in Summerside

Geese are a sure sign of spring, or are they?

As is the case with Robins, many geese migrate long distances, but some stick around all winter. They move around as lakes freeze and the snow piles up, then move back when there's bare grass to eat.
This lovely photo was taken by Susan Mclean in a field near Summerside PEI last weekend.
