CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: Shorebirds in Victoria, P.E.I.

Meteorologists are not the only ones who know when a storm is brewing offshore. Shorebirds can sense pressure and wind pattern changes and usually stay on land. Donna Leard Butler came across these lovely semipalmated plovers in Victoria by the Sea, P.E.I.  These small birds are easy to identify – they have a single dark band across the chest.
