CINDY'S SNAPSHOT: Wood duck in Halifax, N.S.

The views from York Redoubt, perched on a bluff at the narrowest point of the outer Halifax harbour, are stunning and change seasonally. Peggy Domenie and her son weren't starring off in the distance when they spotted the prettiest of all waterfowl- the male wood duck. There's no mistaking the adult male with his distinctive multi-coloured iridescent plumage and red eyes.
